We have all had those moments - you know, the ones that never happened in Vegas. Sometimes becoming a mom brings on feelings that you should be "over" those poolside party days, or guilt for wanting to be wanted in a 'kini, or worse: the denial reaction of re-living those nights that landed you in bed in the first place.
Here are three simple tips for getting away with your sassy momma self without making an ass of yourself.
1. Take a trusted caregiver up on their offer.
When grandma or auntie offer to watch your baby bundle, graciously accept (and promptly visit hotels.com). This is not the time to find a random sitter - worrying about your baby will prevent your ability to enjoy your rendezvous.
2. Go with good influences.
This is not the time to relive experimental days with soriority sisters or to play truth or dare on spring break. Go with other moms, family and besties who won't encourage you to relive your baccelorette party - and who also will keep your fun away from social media embarassment.
3. Plan ahead of time!
When you give yourself more than 48 hours notice, you can spend adequate time with your bambino and daddy, prepare what you need to for the house and the caregiver and let your girls do the same so you can sway and smile sans the guilt.
